Hello adventurers! It’s Ntwelve back again with this weeks news for DanMemo. This week sees the return of the New Generation Pop Idols as well as the Summer 2020 Familia Rush. But before all that, a special announcement about next weeks livestream.
With Danmachi season 3 starting next weekend, they will be holding a special stream on Monday. This stream will feature Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Bell Cranel va) and Inori Minase (Hestia va) as special hosts.
New Generation Pop Idols Return
This week marks the beginning of the rerun for the New Generation Pop Stars Idol event. As with all reruns, the original two banners will be back up. The original units will also get buffs. However, this time the buffs are very minimal. All 5 of the adventurers will be getting Passive buffs that increase their stats, however only 4 of them are getting any changes to their skills.
The Idol Ais adventurer unit is getting a small buff to her first skill. It will now have an Ultra Penetration Rate modifier. Ais will also deal 50% more damage on counters now.
Besides Ais, Anakitty and Line got similar buffs. Their third skills now deal 45% more damage for each debuff or buff respectively.
The final Idol unit to get a buff is Idol Filvis. Fiilvis’ first skill’s debuff effect now last for four turns instead of three.
Besides the rerun of old uits, we are getting two new units in an all new banner. These units are Idol Asfi and the Hermes Familia member Lulune.
Asfi is a balance unit that focuses on helping allies. With a mix of healing, buffs and removing debuffs, she will be great on any team focused on stalling. She is an Earth based Magic attacker.
Asfi’s first skill is a fast buff for all allies. This buff decreases teh amount of damage that your units take from AoE attacks by 35%. This skill also gives Asfi an additional action for the next 3 turns. This additional action is a 30% heal for 3 turns. It also gives allies a 20% Guard Rate buff.
Her second skill is a Super damage, Earth based, AoE Magical attack with temporary Magic boost and ultra Penetration rate modifiers. This skill reduces the length of any debuffs on your units by 2 turns.
The final normal skill that Asfi has is a Super damage, Earth based, Single Target Magic attack with an ultra Critical rate modifier. This skill does 40% more damage for every Guard buff that Asfi has.
Asfi’s Special Arts is an Ultra damage, Earth based, AoE Magic attack with temporary Great Magic boost and ultra Critical rate modifers. This skill also decreases the amount of damage that your units take from AoE attacks by 50% for a single turn.
With a base 35% resistance to Thunder attacks and a 20% resistance to both Physical and Magic attacks, Asfi will already be able to tank some attacks. Add on top of that a passive that reduces damage taken by an additional 30% when guarding, and Asfi looks like she will be hard to take down. She also has innate Earth based Counters and has the Insect Killer passive.
The first unit of this character in game, Lulune is a scout for the Hermes Familia in canon. In game she is an Earth Based Magical attacker that will pair well with Lyra in War Games.
Lulune’s first skill is a High damage, Earth absed, AoE Magical attack with an ultra uncounter rate modifier. This skill also gives Lulune an additional action for the next two turns. This additional action is a Low damage, Earth based, AoE Magical attack.
Her second skill is a Fast, Medium damage, Earth based, AoE Magical attack with a temporary Magic boost. This skill buffs Lulunes Magic and Earth damage by 60% for 2 turns.
The final normal skill that Lulune has is a Super damage, Earth based, Single Target Magic attack with temporary Great Magic boost and ultra penetration rate modifiers.
Like all other Earth based units, Lulune has an innate 35% resistance to Thunder attacks. Her counters are also innately Earth based and will deal 50% more damage. Lulune also does 15% more damage if her attack penetrates, and has the Insect Killer passive.
The Summer 2020 Familia Rush is here as well. With the new Idol banner being released, there is also a stage that compliments them. But let’s go over each stage individually.
Familia Rush Stage 1
The first stage has players face off against 5 crabs. These crabs are Aqua type enemies, meaning units with the Aqua Killer passive will be helpful here. The crabs will attack with fire based Physical and Magical attacks that have a chance to stun. They will also be able to buff their own Guard and Critical rates.
As for their weaknesses, these Crabs have two weaknesses. They have a 40% weakness to Water based attacks and a 20% weakness to Physical attacks. Because of this, the new Ais and Haruhime will be the best units for this stage.
On the opposite side, they have a 20% resistance to Magic attacks and a 40% resistance to Fire based attacks.
Familia Rush Stage 2
The second stage of the Familia rush puts players up against three insect enemies. With that typing, units with the Insect Killer passive will be best on this stage. These insects will use Thunder based Magic attacks that have a chance to stun your units. They are also able to buff their own Strength and Agility while debuffing your units Strength and Magic.
As for these insects weaknesses, they have a 50% weakness to Earth based attacks and a 20% weakness to Light based attacks. They also have a 20% weakness to magic attacks. With all of these weaknesses, the new Asfi and Lulune units will be the best choices, though the older Idol Line unit will also be useful here.
On the flip side, they have a 20% resistance to Dark based attacks and a 30% resistance to Water based attacks.
Familia Rush Stage 3
The final stage puts players against the boss monster of the Familia Rush. This enemy is also Aqua type, meaning units with the Aqua Killer passive will be best on this stage. This boss uses Thunder and Water based magic attacks, as well as some element-less physical attacks that have a chance to apply the slow element. He is also able to debuff your units Endurance, meaning you will take more damage.
With his only weakness being a 60% weakness to light based attacks, the new Lena unit will be the best. However, older Single Target light units like New Year Anya or Idol Aki will also be usefull here.
The boss also has a 40% resistance to Water based attacks and 30% resistances to Fire, Dark and Physical attacks as well.
