Goddess Trinity on the Battlefront

For our first banner this month, we got Asuna, Leafa, and Sinon as Goddesses from Season 3, Act 2, Part 2 of the Anime! Asuna is a Non-Element rapier user, Leafa is an Earth sword user, and Sinon is a Water bow user! They have MP up with normal attack, mitigation, and with Max Limit Break has a longer mitigation time frame. They can only additional attack with each other. Asuna has Crit Rate up for crossing skill, Leafa has MP link for crossing skill, and Sinon has Atk up for crossing skill.

My Placement for Character banners:

  1. Rulers of the Human Empire
  2. Star Festival Commitment
  3. Goddess Trinity on the Battlefront
  4. Summer Brings the Roaring Waves Part 1

Why?

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Rulers of the Human Empire

Rulers of the Human Empire is in first place due to their utility in all events because they have Barrier and switch ss3. If you know the pattern of the boss, you can quickly destroy with Barrier, and if you manage to Max limit break, you would be able to do even more crazy actions due to getting two barriers. The only downside is that they only additional attack with other Underworld characters, so you don’t have many options for team comps with these characters. Plus, nice artwork.

Star Festival Commitment

Star Festival Commitment is in second place mostly because this is the only other banner that has decent skills to them, having switch ss3, healing[healing helps getting hit? or does it increase survival?]to help getting hit, and being able to buff. Plus, they can additional attack with other Holy units, which gives them a vast selection of units for team comps. They would be in first if they had Barrier with Holy additional attack and switch ss3 but instead got healing alongside buffs. You could argue in some aspects first place, but Barrier is such a useful skill.[argue what, that they should be in first place]

Goddess Trinity on the Battlefront

Goddess Trinity on the Battlefront is in third place because mitigation is good, but at this point has been done to death, and only having mitigation hinders the units significantly, especially when you can use 4-5* mitigation in place of these units and be fine. But it is better than having the useless, underutilized Charge skill.

Summer Brings the Roaring Waves Part 1

Summer Brings the Roaring Waves Part 1 is in last place due to Charge skills being the worst skill in the game, no matter how much you buff the skill. If they don’t change the Charge length, it will stay bad. The Charge skill makes it impossible to get all your ss3 in before the boss gets out of the ss3 lock. So you automatically and drastically reduce your DPS with this skill, making it not worth charging it up, even if they buff the damage of the Charge to high amounts without making it stupid broken, which at this point hasn’t yet gotten close to. The only thing good about these units is that they can buff and additional attack with other Earth units, which gives them good team comps to work with.

Thoughts on July banner’s

This month is 50/50, nothing crazy. I liked what they did with the last banner for this month being Korean 3rd anniversary. That’s about it this month. For me, It’s mostly a skip, plus due to how much I’m playing I’m going to wait till they do something awesome or different (in terms of gameplay and characters in gacha).
