Servant Summer Fest, Log 1: The Prisoner of Mangazkaban

HEY! GIVE ME THAT TABLET BACK! WE’RE ONLY ON THE FOURTH DRAFT AND THERE’S JUST 2 DAYS LEFT!

Article? Daily log? What? Right, that was a thing I was doing… BUT WHO HAS TIME? I NEED TO DO THE DOUJIN TO ESCAPE THIS GODDAMN TIMELOOP-

BB? What? I HAVE to write this or else you won’t let me out-

I-

Fine. A log you will get then, you accursed entity.

Hello, my enslaved readers. If you’re anything like me, you’ve been trapped in an endless hell of farming, constantly grinding out points. 3 ladders, 3 shops… this event would be intolerable if it weren’t for the writing being so cheery and enjoyable. I haven’t rolled on the banner yet, since as you all know, I’m waiting for MHXX, which means I have a meager few bronze currency CEs from the friend point gacha, and nothing more. Yet I cannot AVOID farming the currency – I must, at minimum, get 600 of the silver, bronze, and 800 of the gold, to get all the point CEs and the one Jalter ascension mat that’s in the shop instead of the ladder.

Dios Mio…….

This event is a strange mishmash. The actual writing- and there’s a lot of it- is very enjoyable, but the grind is a hell I haven’t felt since Journey to the West. My progress is a bit slow, due to the lack of point CEs and currency CEs, my farming is slowed to an involuntary crawl. Things will move easier once I have all the point CEs, naturally, and once I’ve rolled for XX, the shop farming will move faster too.

……La creatura!

That being said, it’s back to a grinding hell for me. My mindstate right now is very accurately represented by Osakabehime…

I’ll try to make this series a bit more regular than the Summer 2 logs were, but no guarantees. Real life is a strange labyrinth of its own for me right now, and between the endless farming and that, I don’t know what I’ll be able to manage.
